There is only one way to welcome the New Year and that is to take a trip to the NZ Famous Kaiaua Fish'n'Chip Shop for lunch on day one. We've lost count of how many years this has been happening but it's always in the diary.

This year we had 50'ish vehicles at the start in Drury who tiki toured out to Kaiaua and were joined by more vehicles out there. Always a great afternoon.

We meandered home around 4pm.​
